
From your Paddock to your Plate!
We offer private butchering services for customers who prefer to eat their own
home grown meat!
Step 1: Call us to check our availabilities, pricing, and to discuss cutting and packaging requests.
(no private cuts to be completed in December)
Step 2: Please contact and book the abattoirs no later than 11:00am the MONDAY prior to slaughter.
Step 3: Organise your livestock to be transported to the abattoirs.
Please note: Every animal slaughtered at a licensed abattoir is subject to inspection by a certified meat inspector and stamped as being fit for human consumption. These inspections are conducted to make sure the animals are free from diseases, parasites, chemical residues, and contamination, to ensure the meat and any meat products are wholesome and safe to consume. All carcases are processed to the highest standard in hygiene.
(All transport and abattoir slaughter fees are to be covered at your own expense.)
Step 4: Your meat carcuss will be transported to our store via refrigerated transport.
Step 5: Our skilled and experienced butchers will then cut and package your meat as per request.
Your final invoice will include the following charges based off dressed weight inc gst - refrigerated transport fee (from abattoir to shop), butchering, packaging, coolroom storage, additional delivery charge if delivery is required.)
Step 6: Enjoy your very own home grown meat!
